Garwood’s

We went here after being disappointed by Dockside.  First thing…it had air conditioning!  That made everything taste a little better.  Garwood’s is a little fancy with table clothes and cloth napkins. It was 1pm on a Wednesday and it seemed like we were on the back end of the lunch rush.  I’m guessing because of that, there were key menu items unavailable.  Disappointing.  But we found substitutes and ordered.  The sautéed haddock was light, flakey and delicious.  French fries and cole slaw were better than normal. Finally, some mussels for appetizers were ok.  It was expensive though.  Lunch for two was almost $40.  Maybe better for a nice dinner out.  They do have a bar area with TVs and a view of the water.
