The Actual Basin at the Bottom of the Trail

My favorite trail. I did this last summer.  Good parking and a long winding trail along a mountain stream.  You’ll see waterfalls and clear pools while hiking semi-challenging trails.  The way is well marked.  The challenge comes from all the tree roots on the ground.  They are amazing.  Not too steep.  You can go forever straight up if you like.  As for me, I usually turn around at a large waterfall about half way up.
