Fishing Summer 2010

Cody Catching a Big One

We had a blast fishing last summer!  It had been years since I had been.  I avoided it mostly because I was so unsuccessful.  This year, we had friend over and they wanted to fish.  We bought some poles and worms down in Wolfeboro.  We kept catching fish!  More and more and more!  Now most of them were small sun fish and trout.  But I wasn’t fishing to catch a meal.  Just wanted to catch fish!  The kids loved it.  I had a ton of fun myself.  We’d hook the fish and reel them in.  One after another.   After we’d filled a large bucket full, we’d let them go and start again.  Put the poles, worms, buckets and drinks on the green wagon.  We brought chairs, but never had time to sit down.  Excellent time.  I’m sure if we were better fisherman, we’d have caught bigger ones.
