Where to Stay:
Renting a house around Lake Winnipesaukee is your best bet for a quiet, relaxing weekend. A vacation rental is far less costly than getting a hotel room (especially for groups), plus you have the added advantage of being able to cook and store food, so that you needn’t eat out every meal.
There are a good number of privately-owned vacation homes for rent in the area, but prices, proximity to the lake and the states of the rentals vary widely (as may be expected from individually-owned homes).
